inspired by my mixed background, i use offbeat comedic tones to tell stories about women, underrepresented groups and the oppressed.
i was part of the VAULTS New Writers Programme 2020 (mentored by Guleraana Mir),
longlisted for Sphinx30 (female playwrights development programme),
a £30k finalist with The Pitch Film Fund 2020/21,
shortlisted for BFI x BMW x Michaela Coel Filmmaking Challenge 2023,
commissioned by Talkies Community Cinema 2023/24,
and received development funding from Arts Council England in 2024.

A comedy about coffee and community, told through a North London migrant lens.
